Our Door Installation Process
1. Consultation and Assessment
We discuss the type of door you need, the condition and dimensions of the existing opening, your preferred hardware and the finish you would like. Photos and measurements may be requested before an initial estimate is prepared. An on-site consultation may be recommended where the opening requires closer inspection.
2. Door and Hardware Selection
You may supply your preferred door and hardware, or we can assist with selecting suitable products. Door size, thickness, construction, swing direction, security requirements and exposure to weather must all be considered before ordering.
3. Preparation and Installation
The existing door is removed where required. The replacement door is carefully measured, trimmed and fitted to the opening. Hinges, handles, locks, latches and seals are then installed and adjusted.
4. Final Adjustments and Clean-Up
The door is tested to make sure it opens, closes and latches correctly without rubbing or binding. The work area is cleaned and the completed installation is reviewed with you.

The existing frame must be structurally sound and suitable for the proposed door. Repairs to damaged, twisted or out-of-square frames are additional unless specifically included in the quotation. Final suitability will be confirmed after inspection and measurement.
